Pitch still isn't sure what to make of the Devas as a whole. If anything, he is wary. But, he is appreciative that Calex was actually making an attempt to get out there and mingle with the Wakened in the City. He still doesn't like the fact that Calex knows a lot more about things than what Pitch is comfortable with.

In all honesty, with all Devas, Pitch feels like their all like Manny. Powerful beings, but lets other people do their job for them. But perhaps, in time, his opinion could be changed.
