Nash sees Nunnally like a little sister. She's proven herself strong and spirited even though she doesn't come off as that sort right off the back. In some ways she reminds him of his own sister Yuuli, which is probably why he takes it upon himself to look after her. And then she's also Lelouch's sister, but he's grown pretty fond of her either way.
