Well, for starters? If I was going to hurt you, you'd already be hurt. Most people around here can't take a guy like me in a fight.

As for where believing me on where you are, I could take you outside the city to show you what everything looks like, but you haven't been here long enough to handle that. The forces outside Nautilus would probably be enough to mess up a newbie like you pretty bad.

[He shrugs and then smiles a bit.]

Aside from that... Really the only other thing I can do is show you around, answer all your questions as best I can and, if you're hungry, I'll take you somewhere to get some chow.

I'm not certain I'll be able to handle any of this well, even after I've been here awhile.

[And the idea of being anywhere but home for any period of time has him a nervous wreck as he rubs his hands a bit, managing to focus on Rex.]

Believe it or not, you do get used to being here after a while. Mmmm...mostly.

But anyway! Food. I'll take you up to Furmans in the North.

[Rex's lower legs suddenly light up with glowing blue tech lines. Metal follows hardly a second later, coming right out of his limbs below the knee and morphing into a hover cycle. Reaching up, Rex pulls his goggles down and then jerks a thumb over one shoulder.]

Hop on and hang on. I promise I won't pull anything fancy on the way, but I do have a thing for speeding that's tough to curb.
