"As long as a creature is made of ectoplasm, our equipment can handle it, and it can be modified if necessary for special cases. One of those case was for humans, when we briefly became the Crimebusters in order to pay the bills during a several week lull in ghost activity. It's not really practical to keep those kind of modifications in place unless you're going to use them on a regular basis, though, since they take time to make and undo."
