Oh well now. This girl... she was something else. River watched her, and listened to her. Before she was learning about this place, and part of her was still doing that; but learning about Rose Tyler? So much more interesting. Places came and went. This was someone whose presence was burned onto the Doctor's hearts.

Out of time. Oh yes, River caught that. Was she being tested, perhaps. Good. Anyone who held such a large place in the Doctor's past should be protective of him. This girl was talking perhaps too much, but it was possible she was trying to emulate the Doctor. Well, River had learned from him, why couldn't Rose. Clearly though, Rose still had more to learn.

She sipped her tea when it was handed to her, to hide the smile at Rose saying she wanted to try touching that which could unmake her. She liked this girl's spirit, even if she felt she still had a lot of growing up to do.

"There is, of course," she said, smiling as she set down her tea carefully, "One very good reason to not touch that chaos," but really, only one. It kind of appealed to River as well, but then when you were created to kill the man you loved, you tended to have a self-destructive streak.
