"I am a time traveler, though. Which is why I have to be very careful with what information gets back to the Doctor, when. I have to control how much he learns, so he doesn't learn anything too early." She could say that much, because she would say it to him within a half hour of his meeting her for the first time.
She gave a small wistful smile as she sipped her tea. "We keep meeting in the right order. But I suppose if it were easy, it would be boring." For him. She suspected half of what made him love her was that she almost always knew something he didn't. It drove him mad.
