Ash ponders on how old he thinks Professor may be because he doesn't know and given a kid perspective even regular old is -
very
old.
"I'm not sure how old Professor Oak is... He may have been alive with Prehistoric Pokemon.." As states with a smile and some humor.
Sadly, Ash doesn't know any aeon old Pokemon just yet but nonetheless, they get along.
