Well, so far as I know -- our homes, supposedly, were dreams we were each having. Being brought here means you awoke, and you woke here for a reason -- though I could not tell you how or why, only that there is purpose for it.

There is a magic here we all share, the ability to bend reality to our wills. It is not something we can do without training it, but with enough skill and practice, anything can become a reality should you wish for it to be so.
