To touch Jack's mind and see what it feels like. He's missed time and he can't risk Rose being devoured. But he won't even broach the subject because he'd rather be bored and dry as dust forever than to use someone like that

Not much better here I'm afraid. Lots of time. Not a lot to do about it. Oh well storms and ascending but... it's all very localized and a bit... well you can't always choose what's going to happen to you.
