Pinocchio just uncomfortably watches with some degree of sympathy as Beaker seems to try and puzzle through the questions. The extended silence isn't... reassuring... and he worries that he's prompted some sort of crisis. Pinocchio's definitely been through the same as far as that line of thinking goes, so maybe it's a universal puppet experience to not really know for sure what you are, or what your existence involves?
And he doesn't exactly know how to handle a response like that. Or, rather, a non-response. Maybe he'll just... drop it. Yeah, that's probably for the best.
