"You couldn't have," Rose arched her own eyebrows in return. "It's --" She shook her head, and dug into her pockets, pulling out her phone to find Irene's guide. "Part of the nature of this place." She shrugged and handed over her phone with Irene's guide pulled up front. "I've done more universal traveling than my husband, and he's ascended, so he's been traveling to other universes too, but the better way, not like mine."

The final comment had Rose narrowing her eyes. Finally she just closed them. What was 9 running from?

Himself.

Rose just grit her teeth hard at that. "Nowhere to run here," she said simply before opening her eyes again, fixing them on the other woman. "It's not that he needs to settle," she rolled her eyes, and laughed again, "That'd be impossible! And boring besides! But like I said," she gestured to the phone. "His surprises here haven't been too pleasant." She winced slightly, thinking of Lady Me and bit her bottom lip. "And he makes it harder on himself than it needs to be." It was what it was. Rose waved a hand. "Well, depends on the version of him, long story," she laughed again. Because just handling being in a multi-verse nexus that even TimeLords, angels, deities, and demons, had no knowledge of was troubling enough without explaining the time crunch that involved multiple faces of the same man being there.

"But maybe just you know, good surprises," Rose grinned cheerily, then chewed her bottom lip again in hesitation. "Tchaaa... that's assuming he'd even let me!" Well, Scarfy would, but 4 was the easiest for Rose to get along with and didn't mind most of Nautilus' storms, the only ones that bothered him the rest of him handled better. It was... yet another thing.
