River was still watching as Rose prattled and only arched an eyebrow at the growled 'no' before Rose seemed to realize who she was. That alone seemed to amuse her a bit more.

However, every thing else Rose had to say? River felt her humor slip away a bit. Rework her introduction to her own husband? A suggestion on which version of him to start with? Exactly, what was this girl playing at? River had known The Doctor her entire life and she most certainly did NOT need advice on how to handle him or even introduce herself to him!

"I see you've heard of me and what I am, or will be to him."

That part was rather obvious to read between the lines as Rose rambled on.

"However, how I handle my husband will be entirely up to me whether he's from a point of time close to my own or not. Besides, you're hardly the first woman to be married to him before me or even after me. He tends to get himself married quite by accident and we even had the same wife at one point."

Very blunt and very, very much River stating her own claim on that idiot she was so in love with. "As for Lady Me, yes, I know her and where I don't always agree with her methods when it comes to The Doctor, we get along well enough. Though, I don't think I've met Jack..."

But, she's definitely heard of him and that gets a brief smirk.

As for the cold... she hardly feels it right now.

"How about we just walk and talk? I'll get a jacket later."
