Ensign Ro Laren | Star Trek: TNG | Because I am half dead tired and it seems like a good idea...

A - newly Wakened -
All the others had been reverted to adults. Ro was the last of the children to still be a child. She had delayed, slightly, to draw a picture of her mother. She never really drew any when she had actually been a child... So This seemed as good a time as any. she should have realized that her life liked to mess with her. If she was more religious she might have blamed the Prophets for what seemed a lifetime of bad luck.

As it was, she heard the call to Wake her first instinct was to ignore the obvious order. She had spent much of her "career" as it was in the brig and in hot water in general. It led to a lot of questioning orders, and questioning her own life choices. But since coming to the Enterprise... since meeting Guinen and the captain... She had started to... to try again. And after spending this whole time stuck as a child, unable to do her job... she turned towards the call, and...

This was not Ten Forward. Instead of sitting at a table, drawing with Guinan, she was sitting on the grass, holding a crayon and the picture of her mother. What? just... what?

She dropped the crayon, because she refused to drop the picture, and tapped her comn badge with her now free hand. "Ensign Ro Laren to bridge. Come in, bridge?" Nothing. She frowned, an expression she wore with the long ease of practice. "Ro to transporter room, do you read me, transporter room?" Nothing. She tapped the badge again. "Computer, locate Ro Laren." Nothing. So... who had teleported her, why? And... where?

B. A few hours later....

Ro was carrying the rolled up picture of her mother carefully in one hand, a phaser in the other as she moved from shadow to shadow, sticking to the lee of buildings, looking for a shuttlecraft she could 'borrow' to at least access a map to know what sector she's in, and depending who the craft belongs to... steal it to return to the Enterprise. So have what looks like a 13 year old holding a rolled up page, and what looks like a toy weapon creeping from shadow to shadow....
