Sans had no clue how he had gotten... wherever he was. But he'd heard that voice before. So, with a bit of a shrug, he shoved his hands in his pockets and ambled on over. HArd to fire someone from a job, when they weren't there to feel the heat. Even in Hotlands.

Toriel heard the soft patter of slippers first. It was nostalgic, even if she'd never heard these particular footsteps before. She looked up and spotted a skeleton. This was not too surprising...and she had the perfect greeting for the occasion.

Oh! Hello! Ah...patella you the truth, I was not expecting company. Are you well?

"I wasn't planning to come until to-marrow, myself," he replied with a grin. Well, this promised to be fun. "Water ya going to do about it if I am?"

She couldn't help the bleats of laughter that erupted from her. He was good, and also oddly familiar to her.

"I shall have to douse your hopes before you drown me in a tidal wave," she grinned.

"Though...I snow this is strange, but you are so familiar to me...I had a pun pal I adoored at home..."

"A title wave? Indeed." That skeleton grin despite the pain of missing his brother.

"Funny thing, that. I can't help but punder, since I knew someone, and we were just on the threshold of our friendship."
