I mentioned this to Adrian-mun, and thought I might run it by the supposed head of Team Smartypants: Maria's not-quite-human (I guess almost kinda sorta like Silent Hill's version of a Nobody?), and would be a good subject (read: a subject who won't go eating your flesh or tearing your limbs off) if they ever felt like doing some scientific research on Silent Hill and things that lived there.
