"No, that song is ... ugh."

It was all the city's fault. Somehow that disgusting song by that Gaga tramp played for about a week nonstop, leaving many that didn't know about gambling games, including Sideswipe, curious. So Lara offered to teach him, considering they were slowly becoming more of friends and less targets for malicious amusement. But that cursed song made it so bloody difficult! She removed the glue gun from the table and handed over chips.

"You bet with these. Now, allow me to pass out the cards."

She had finished shuffling and began to dole out the cards when a large metal finger obstructed her view. It obstructed her view because it was pressing on her face.

"W-wha? What are you doing, Sideswipe?"

She pushed the large finger away and glared at Sideswipe, what on Earth was he getting at now?

"But I'm doing what the song said. It said "Poke her face" so I'm poking your face."

"For the last sodding time that song is rubbish! Now sit down and listen to my rules!"

"Not if you're going to yell at me."

She sighed, she gave up, she slammed her head down on the table and rolled it a bit. She was never one to swear, but in her mind she couldn't help but think it: Damn you, Lady Gaga. Damn you and your catchy melodies to hell.

Samus walked, her head hung low. How long had it been now since Aya went back home? It felt like weeks, months, years. She had never admitted to anyone, even to herself, how much Aya meant to her as a friend. And after Tally had left, well ... there was an open vacancy, wasn't there? She passed the Police Headquarters now, and the sight made her heart ache more.

Where was her bosom companion, her biffle, her heterosexual life parter? She missed the honesty they had with each other, and the special times and honestly ... she missed the fucked up things they did. Like switch Kyle's and his horse's legs, man that was great. But now it was like it had been ages ago.

There was the gate, the gate Aya had left through. In something silent, almost a whisper, Samus spoke.

"Dude ... I totally miss you."

"What?"

Samus spun, she couldn't believe her eyes. Aya! Right there, after so long! She couldn't contain herself, she rushed to her friend and gave the biggest hug she could.

"Aya, I missed you so much!"

"... I was only gone a couple minutes."

"I know, but it was like the worst two minutes of my life. Do you want to get pizza?"

"Uh, sure."

And so they walked off together towards Pizza Hut. Dude.

Hashish, a specific preparation of cannabis smoked in order to reach a state of mental relaxation. The very substance and word where 'Assassin' came from, and so it seemed clear at the time why Lara would partake of this drug with Altaïr. But clarity no longer really had an effect on them, and it would be prudent to note that right now neither of them even knew what the hell was going on.

They laid down on the floor, a veil of smoke surrounding them as they stared into the cosmos that seemed to be emanating from the ceiling.

"I am the eggman," Altaïr suddenly spoke, although it took Lara a few moments to register. She turned her head slowly to look over at him and frowned.

"Be honest. Do I look like a walrus?" She asked. In a mirror motion of Lara, he slowly turned his head to face her.

"What is a walrus?"

"I am the walrus."

Altaïr nodded sagely, although considering half his face was on the floor it looked more like he was rubbing his face on the carpet. Or maybe that is exactly what he was doing.

"Goo goo g'joob goo goo g'joob," he spoke, passing his knowledge and wisdom. Lara lolled. The dead dog with yellow matter custard dripping from his eye agreed.

It could have been forever, it could have been never that they were in this state. But after finding a hundred empty bags of Doritos, a fish with lipstick on it tied to a couch, and an empty DVD case of the Last Unicorn, the two agreed that perhaps they should stay off the hashish for a long while.
