the illness memeOh, to be sick. You get to miss work and be miserable and have to eat soup and get to watch movies and sleep in and have to deal with fevers… You win some, you lose some, and sometimes, you’re sick for a really long time and it just sucks. Then again, sometimes you’re the one who has to take care of the sick person. Good luck.
WARNING: Depending upon what you plot out, some things could be squicky for some people. Be sure to ask ahead with the person you're tagging if you have any doubts or questions!

prompts1. MINOR COLD Oh, this icky thing. Did you get it from school? Work? Did some random person sneeze on you? Whatever happened, you’re in bed with a headache, stuffy nose, cough, and all of those classic symptoms. Feel better soon!
2. RECOVERING You might not be a hundred percent better, but you are over the worst of the illness, whatever it was. Still, try to milk it for all its worth.
3. CHICKEN POX This sucks for kids, but it’s even worse for adults. You’re itching all over, have a fever, feel gross, and it’s just awful. Stick to liquids, don’t scratch those itches, and wash your hands! It’s a very contagious disease!
4. FOOD POISONING Is anyone suffering along with you, or were you the poor soul who now wants to cut out their stomach? Hopefully it wasn’t the more serious infections where you need to have your stomach pumped, literally.
5. HORRIBLE COLD This is worse than the usual colds people get. Fever is higher, you’re sore, sleep for hours on end, can’t stomach anything, and medicine just doesn’t seem to work. Better to just pass out and hope your immune system works.
6. ALL BETTER Yes! You’re cured now! No more staying inside, blowing your nose raw, taking awful medicine, and drinking gallons of soup! Now get back to work.
7. FLU Aches and pains, sneezing and sniffling, headaches, and more. That flu shot didn’t work this year, or maybe you didn’t get one like you should have. Tisk tisk.
8. ALLERGIES This is one of those things that you cannot avoid, ever. Be it cat fur or dust or some sort of food allergy, you can never be free. Sometimes, if you’re feeling bad enough, it can get you out of work and make people pity you.
9. CATCHING IT You don’t know what it is, but you’re coming down with something. Do you take a day off to take care of yourself and nip it in the bud, or are you one of those people who just continue on and pass it off as nothing?
10. HEADACHE Your temples are pounding and it feels like your head wants to explode. We don’t blame you for seeking peace and quiet. Take your medicine, a cold washcloth, and see if someone will massage your poor head.
11. RESPATORY VIRUS This is an icky one because all you can do is take gross medicine and cough up your lungs until it has passed. Also, you can catch it again and again and again, and sometimes, before it gets better, it gets worse.
12. LARYNGITIS Ha! One of the annoying illnesses! How did you lose your voice? A cold? Allergies? Just something random? Or were you screaming for too long?
13. SPREADING IT We all hate you. We don’t care if you’re in the store to get medicine to get better yourself, you’re a carrier and you spread your illness to everyone. Cover your mouth, carry hand sanitizer on you, and prepare for glares of death.
14. STEPH THROAT Worse than a normal sore throat, this one comes with a fever and headaches, and not much can soothe your poor, sore throat. Try all the medicines and home remedies that you want, you just have to ride through this.
15. WILD CARD Is there another illness out there you wanna put your muse through? Is there some other scenario you want to play? Go for it, or roll again!
