Last year, we had a few people who DIDN'T SEND THEIR PRESENTS to poor muns, leaving them WITHOUT CHRISTMAS JOY. There is no greater travesty than not sending Christmas joy. Therefore, here's the deal: You may NOT sign up unless you plan to participate in giving as well as the receiving of presents of Christmas cheer! If you plan on giving and something comes up after you've already signed up, that's ok! Just let me know ASAP so I can find someone to give in your stead. My goal is for ~NO ONE~ who signs up to be left waiting for a present that never comes.

If you do want to participate, when you post, please leave a list of 3-5 things you want- that way your Santa at least has a clue what to get you! Try not to ask for things that cost money, since a lot of us prooobably can't afford lots. Things that you KNOW are cheap, like iconspace or icon add-ons, are A O.K. You may also list things you like for broad wants, like Hello Kitty. That way if your Santa finds a cute Kitty phone charm for a buck on ebay, they can send it to you!

Basically, you can buy gifts, but don't ask for anything over $5, and Santas, don't give anything over $10, since I know some of you are generous.

Signups will be screened so you don't know who's participating and will close on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30th to give everyone time to get their gifts together- but remember, this isn't the sign-up! For those, make sure you click your way on over to:

There's usually one or two things on the list that cost something, and then others that don't, like art, icons, drabbles, etc. Generally, people are pretty good. Now me, I asked for a pony. But I'm sure those only cost a little.

Hey, back when I still lived at my grandfather's house, my sister had to board up a horse in the front yard overnight, which was bordered by nothing but a chain-linked fence. Because it was a rural neighborhood in a town where most people probably haven't even seen a real horse.

lmao I have pictures of it somewhere. It was hilarious seeing a freaking horse just chilling out in some small, normal front yard.

You don't need money! Lots of people ask for icons (making them, not icon spaces), art, or drabbles! You absolutely can join in anyway! And I can make sure to pair you up with someone who didn't ask for anything that requires money, if that's your only problem! :3 I don't want to exclude aaaanyone~

Absolutely! When Christmas rolls around, I'll have a "Secret Santa!" post much like our memes where muns post, and their secret santas ~*~anonymously~*~ respond with their gifts, links to their gifts, etc. Not sure what I'll do for mailed gifts yet. Maybe not let anyone open them till Secret Santa day, but that's just tempting fate. XD
