This is pretty self-explanatory, isn't it?
○ Post with your character. You are now a resident of the world of Pokémon. Forget your original world. For this meme it'll be like you lived here your entire life.
○ Do the usual Name and series... HOWEVER! There is one other bit of information you must add... Tell us what sort of trainer you are ♥

Come up with something yourself or head on over to random.org and generate a number. The number you get will coorespond with one of the options below!

1. Protagonist - A wandering trainer who travels their region, taking on gyms along the way hopes on eventually making it to the Pokémon league and proving they are a TRUE Pokémon Master.

2. Gym Leader - An elite trainer who waits for challengers to come to them. Usually a specialist of a specific type, they test their opponents and hand over a Gym Badge to any who prove to be victorious!

3. Pokémon Breeder - A kind and nurturing sort of trainer who strives to breed and hatch and raise the perfect Pokémon.

4. Coordinator - A trainer who has moved away from the field of battle to take on a new stage. Whether it's the Razzledazzle of Pokémon contests, or the drama of Pokémon musicals they prove the a passion for pokémon doesn't always mean they have to fight.

5. Ace Trainer - They are the coolest of the cool trainers. A great strategist and a maker of balanced teams they definitely have their game together.

6. Elite Four - You are simply one of the best there is. Most normal opponents wouldn't stand a chance against your prowess.

7. Researcher - Your quest for knowledge has led you to a life dedicated to the research of everything Pokémon.

8. Evil Team Member - Whether it's Team Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Galactic, Plasma or an entirely new one no one has heard of before... you're here, you're causing trouble, and no one had better stand in your way.

9. Youngster - Hey! Aren't you too young to be a Trainer? Either way this kid doesn't care. They only care about their Ratatta. Because their Ratatta is the best in the whole world. It is in the top ten percentage of Ratatta in fact. They will call EVERYONE to let them know this fact. Because clearly they have the Chosen One of Ratatta.

10. Your Choice! - Pick one of the above options or hey! Pick your own. The Pokémon World is HUGE and I've only put up some of the more general and iconic classes there.

[He claps, the teddiursa at his feet claps, too, mimicking its trainer.]

It did.

[Oh, hey, Teddiursa. Have the Eevee Squad circling around you curiously.]

[The teddiursa grabs Mike's leg. She's shy.]

Go ahead.

It is okay.

They aren't going to battle you straight off. Say hi.

[He looks up at the other trainer.]

They're a handsome team. Which one was your starter?

Mine was Glimmer, here. Come on out, girl!

[A shiny Umbreon emerges from a gold plated Pokeball. She is fluffy, coat glossy from Poffins and care. She's wearing a costume jewelry collar.]

[Six's Umbreon twitches his ears forward with interest. Hello there. Like the rest of Six's Pokemon, Umbreon is a bit scruffy-looking in comparison but is obviously in very good health. Unlike Mike's Glimmer, Umbreon isn't a shiny.]

If you mean which was my first Pokemon, that was a Bulbasaur. He's long since evolved into a Venusaur and retired. [It's been many many years since he first started training.]

My starter now is Eevee. [The little fluff ball puffs up his little chest with pride.]

[Glimmer blinks slowly, taking in Six's Umbreon. She flicks her tail. Hello, yourself.]

It seems she's taken, ah, a shine to your Umbreon.

[Mike's teddiursa is feeling a little less terrified, so it shuffles over and sniffs a few of the Eeveelutions.]

Wow. That's a Kanto starter, right? One of the originals. That's impressive training.

[He looks down at Eevee.]

You are in pretty capable hands, little guy.

[Six actually smirks at that.] Not surprising. He's very interested in yours. We haven't seen one that coloration before.

[He nods to the question as Eevee flicks his tail with pleasure.] I've been a trainer for quite a while.

Glimmer is a Shining Umbreon, or a shiny.

My mom knew a breeder who specialized in Eevees and Eeveelutions. I got Glimmer as an egg and when she hatched, she wasn't the same color as other Eevees. I thought she was sick, but the Nurses and Poke Profs all said she was fine. It was only an aesthetic mutation or something.

I haven't seen another like her.

[Glimmer looks around at the other Eeveelutions, looking them over as if she is shopping.]

[She settles her gaze back on Six's Umbreon and closes the distance between them, sniffing him before licking the end of his nose.]

[Goldie is suddenly fascinated with the Vaporeon's tail.]

You'd have to be, no offense, I mean, to have all these carefully Evolved Pokemon.

Do you give them nicknames?

I've heard of shinies before, but never seen one.

[Flareon is daintily licking a paw. She's a quiet lady.]

[Espeon is doing her stretches. Need to keep limber and such.]

[Jolteon is playfully tussling with Eevee.]

[Vaporeon is watching Goldie shyly.]

None taken.

No I didn't. The ones I evolved myself I gave them the names of their evolutions I was planning to change them into.

There's one now.

[Glimmer flicks her ears, knowing she is being talked about. Her fur ruffles a little.]

They were okay with it?

I always wondered if they would mind.

I mean, Glimmer just evolved on her own one night.

So there is.

[Six nods.] I used to call Umbreon "Espeon" since I'd planned to evolve him as one, but he evolved in the middle of a fight at night. It didn't take long for him to get used to the switch.

[He scratches Vaporeon some under the chin.] In my experience, as long as they're well-cared for and given some affection, they don't mind what you name them.

Good thing. In a team battle, that would be confusing. Especially since you have an Espeon.

[Glimmer makes a purring " breee" before she flicks her ears at Six's Umbreon. His evolution is clearly an improvement to his Master's plan according to her.]

[The teddiursa mimics Six and scratches Vaporeon's on the other side of its chin.]

I always try to pick ones that suit them..and ones I like too, of course.

I'm terrible at nicknames. I'll only use a nickname if that's the name the Pokemon was raised with if I make a trade.

[Umbreon preens at Glimmer's approval. Yes, he is a handsome devil.]

[The effect is ruined by Jolteon pouncing on him and nipping his ear, starting a small scuffle.]

[Vaporeon trills at having both sides of her chin scratched.]

Yeah. They can be kind of hard to pick sometimes.

[Glimmer yelps in surprise at the jump. She tilts her head to the side with an inquiring glance. Should she join in too?]

[Teddiursa gives a happy rumble at being included and making another Pokemon happy. Cute little devil.]

They seem happy enough without having nicknames, so it all works out in the end.

[Jolteon is nibbling on Umbreon's ear, pinning the larger Eeveelution down. He looks up at Glimmer and paws at her. Come plaaaaaay! It's fun!]

[Umbreon growls and shoves Jolteon off with his feet.]

Whatever works, right?

[Glimmer makes a chirp-like "bree" before playfully pawing on Umbreon's shoulder. She'll try this fun thing.]

[Six nods, watching Jolteon scrape his teeth over Umbreon's neck. The two are now play fighting in earnest, Jolteon squirming out from under the larger evolution's paws and his front crouching down in the standard "Let's play!" position.]

[Glimmer pounces on Jolteon, yipping and swatting at him playfully.]

[Jolteon pants happily, playfully swatting at her as well. He rolls over onto his back so he can get better shots at her underside though he doesn't hit hard.]

So carefree.

[Six is quietly amused by their antics.]

[Umbreon is disappoint. Noooooo. He was supposed to show off how cool and sophisticated he was. Jolteon, what have you done?!]
