Albert Wesker | Resident Evil

[He stalked through the western gate with his head high. For all of his faults, Albert Wesker was certainly no coward - he hardly knew what fear was after the injection. He gave the red sky and unfamiliar landscape a onceover, lips pursing.]

What on Earth...

[Now this was certainly different. And as it happened, Wesker did not take well to having the rug yanked from under his feet. He recognized the giant spiders that were crawling toward him, though, if even mistakenly. He reached into the underside of his coat, and the STARS issued nine millimeter practically materialized in his gloved hand.]

Out of my way.

[Spiders? Meet a few particularly well aimed bullets.]

[The gunfire caught Hei's attention. Although it wasn't entirely out of place in the western district it still warrants investigation.

Silently, he's trailing the man, keeping to the tree line.]

AWWW YEAH B]

[The spiders crumpled lifelessly to the ground, but hardly anyone could guess it was a victory for the man by his unreadable expression. His face was composed of hard planes and hard lines; waking in this new place had thrown him for a loop, but Nautilus was going to have to try harder to faze him.

The only thing left to do was to try and contact his people, which he attempted on a rather expensive looking cell phone. All the while his eyes were peeled, careful not to let anyone get the drop on him.]

Wesker, here. An extraction chopper is required, ASAP...

[Needless to say, he pulled the phone away the second he realized that it was connected to some foreign network. His fingers drummed along the sides of his phone.]

Mn. This could serve a problem.

[Unfortunately for Hei the tree line in the Western District was also home to trees who didn't take kindly to being used as cover. He'd encountered them before but they always seemed to take the most inopportune moments to spring to life.

Unlike his encounter with Darkstar, however, Hei darted off further into the dark forest away from the man. Although, there would be no mistaking the movement as the trees stretched out their hand-tipped branches towards something moving quickly away.]

[The hand-tipped trees were definitely worth a quirked eyebrow. He was a pragmatist at heart, always seeking the logical explanation, the truth, but this was beyond ridiculous to the man's scientific standard. Their movements definitely tipped him off, however.

He was being followed.

No matter. If whoever it was wanted to take their shot at him, they would learn sooner rather than later that guns didn't kill him as much as they simply made him angry. He kept his hand around the trigger of his weapon, searching his immediate surroundings, listening intently for the sound of footfalls. No way of knowing if it would be a person or a hostile he was dealing with, so it was better to keep to himself for now.]

[Wesker would continue to be followed. Hei had no use for guns, and there was no use in killing anyone here. At least not yet.

Since he was already given away by the trees and the man was already on high alert, there seemed little advantage is staying hidden.

Hei stepped out of the tree line, regarding Wesker with a look of mild disinterest.]

You must be new.

[No hard feelings here, Hei. As it happened, Wesker also couldn't be bothered to feign much interest - save for the obvious disadvantage at hand, of course. He watched the stranger emerge from the trees, brows furrowing ever so slightly on the hard ridge of his shades.]

That seems to be the case. But I'm afraid you've caught me at a disadvantage.

You'd better get used to that. [Sage advice. It took him months to accept things and honestly that was time wasted in retrospect.]

Do you know where you are?

Hm. [Well all right then, he'll let that be that.]

I can't say I'm familiar with the local area. [Said with his typical deadpan sarcasm.]

[Of course he wasn't, but Hei figured the man operated on hard facts, much like he did.]

[Vlad was watching closely at the scene, eyebrows furrowed at the man. Another assassin type it would seem. New probably, but clearly capable.]

[The silver haired man, clearly still in his human form, goes invisible for the time being, watches patiently until the man is done with the firing.]

[When the spiders had all been taken care of proper, Wesker did not sheathe his weapon again. It was clear that wherever he was, bio-organic weapons were running rampant and while he could usually take care of those with his bare hands, he didn't want to take any chances.

So he walked a little further into the district, inspecting it with eyes concealed and unreadable by those sunglasses. He took out a rather sleek and expensive looking cell phone, speaking into it.]

Wesker, here. I'm going to need a brief on my own coordinates. This place is... unfamiliar, as it were.

[And then he saw that his phone was connected instead to some foreign network, and promptly his jaw clenched.]

Whoever's taken the time to arrange all this has certainly outdone themselves. Spencer, I expected more from you.
