I always have a hard time finding motivation to write up CR charts for my characters. Doing it in meme form always helps!

Not that Hei would ever admit any of this, mind you. There's a budding sense of protectiveness that Hei has concerning Shinji. He wouldn't call it friendship, only that they have some similarities, either in personality or history. Once Hei overheard the conversation in his apartment, part of him is jealous, almost. Shinji has these people who obviously care about him quite a bit, Hei keeps himself at a distance. He's glad for that, though. That Shinji might be better off than he is in the end.
Hearing what Shinji had done, though...that definitely made Hei angry, but not because Shinji had killed but because of that protectiveness he feels towards Shinji. He doesn't want the teenager to be forced down the same path he's already taken.
He's wary of becoming too close, but Hei will keep an eye out for Shinji in the future.
