[When she offers that hand, instead of shaking it he draws it to his lips and kisses the back of it in a politely old fashioned way.]

So...we probably should walk and look for a path, or directions to find out where we are. Maybe we can talk on the way?

So...you've ridden horses before?

Yes. I was brought up in.... what you might call the countryside. So I have experience with horses, yes.
