[Jake turns to head down the candy isle next. Sure, he could bend up the stuff he wants but why do that when you can walk through a grocery store where it's all there for you? Truth be told, he just wanted out of the house for a little while. He is thinking of picking up some chocolate for Lucas and John to drop off on the way back to Ground Zero 2.0 when he spots...something pretty weird. Even for him.]

...A furry fairy? Yo! [He calls out as he walks toward Chip.] You...lost little...guy?

Huh?

[Looking back at Jake and turning, Chip almost overbalances a little because of his load. Righting himself, he smiles.]

I'm not lost right now, but I just got here.

Noobie huh? Well welcome to Nautilus then. I'm Jake Long. What's your name, little fairy dude?

Light Gaia. But I like Chip more, so call me Chip.

[Hovering over to the teenager, he holds out a chocolate bar in an offer of friendship.]

I'm not a fairy though. Want some chocolate?

Light Gaia? [Jake blinks and takes the chocolate bar.]

Chip it is. If you're not a fairy, what are you?

You know, I never really thought about what I am.

[He floats there looking thoughtful and tries to think about that for a minute.]

But it's my job to put the planet back together and I like all things that are good and nice.

You...put the world back together? You mean your world like...breaks?

[wantsomechocolate]

Uh-huh. Every few million years when Dark Gaia wakes up.

[Unwrapping one of his chocolates, Chip pops it into his mouth with a pleased hum.]

Then I go put everything back together.

Sounds messed up, yo. So what do you do during your down time?

[Jake isn't sure who has the worst job between them. Jake is on call 24/7 but at least the world isn't always breaking. This guy...sounds like a big job for someone so tiny.]

I sleep and get my energy back from the positivity of the planet.

[Sleeping until he has to work.]

Like...that's it? All you do is sleep until the world breaks?

Yeah.

[It's kind of a lonely existence, though before he made friends he'd never really thought of it that way. It's worth it though, especially knowing what he's protecting now.]

[Jake is quiet for a moment. He smiles when an idea hits him and he steps closer to Chip.]
