[Kaylyn isn't a total stranger to portals. But this is the first time she ever managed to go through one on accident, which she should probably be freaking out about but she's too busy running. Inhumanly fast, she ducks and weaves around buildings and finds herself lost, once she skids to a stop. Looking around, not nearly as out of breath as she should be, her hair falls in her eyes as she turns to look behind her. No one is coming. There's no clatter, no voices, nothing.

After a few moments of hesitation, she decides to keep her head down and keep walking until she finds something she recognizes or someone to ask for directions.]

[Directions, you say?]

[Sitting on a bench up ahead is a man dressed largely in white and red, his head covered with a white hood and his eyes obscured by an equally white blindfold. There is a staff in his left hand, the lower end of it resting against the ground and a lantern hanging from the top, elegantly hooked end.]

[He tilts his head as the young woman approaches, possibly picking up on her footfalls.]

Hello? Somethin' I can help you with?

[His voice has an odd resonance to it, one that might make a person feel a bit unsettled at first, though his tone is anything but threatening.]
