A) The feed blinks into life, revealing a hedgehog. A rather pink hedgehog at that, with her hand on a hip and an easy smile. "Amy Rose here. Looks like this dimension needs a little help - it's usually why I'm pulled into places like this anyway. I'm not sure what zone I'm in but if anyone gets this, I'd like some information."

B)
Wearing casual cargo pants and a white t-shirt with a swirled pattern on it, Amy was hardly going to be turning heads. Unless being a pink anthromorphic hedgehog surprised people here. She hoped it didn't. She'd rather lay somewhat low until she had an idea of what this place was about and how it functioned. For now she was observing everything around her, spinning as she tried to take it all in. How to ask for information without sticking out like a sore thumb...? She still wasn't entirely sure, even after dimension hopping around in the past.

The hedgehog sped by on his usual morning run. However, when he spotted the pink hedgehog he came skidding to a halt. She stuck out like a sore thumb, all right. A familiar, pink, spiky thumb at that.

"Ames?" He called from afar as he came trotting up. She looked a little..different. Her clothes were changed and she looked shorter and younger. But it had to be Amy Rose, right?

"Sonic?" But who else could it be? She beamed and ran to meet him halfway. "Sonic! I didn't think anyone else was here! Did you bring Tails with you?" She stopped in front of him, bubbly and eager as could be. "I take it this place is somewhat safe, otherwise you wouldn't be so in the open."

"Tails? Nah." He shook his head. Though..being out in the open? He would be out especially if it were dangerous. "How long have you been here, Ames?"

"Not too long. Typical that just as things get a bit quiet we end up someplace else again!" It hadn't been too long since they had defeated Chaos. Her face fell a little, remembering. "Are you doing okay now? It's been rough since Johnny...but, you're not going to run off again, right?" She asked, deep concern written over her face.

It'd been so alien to see Sonic so shook up and brooding. Johnny's death had truly hit all of them hard and it was only after Chaos had been defeated that Amy herself had time to grieve, pushing down her feelings under anger and a need to try and keep everyone else going.

"Johnny?" Sonic arched an eyebrow in confusion at her expression as well as the question. He had a sinking feeling that Amy Rose wasn't going to be on the same page as him or anyone else that was in the city. "Sorry, Ames. I don't know any Johnny."

Amy's expression widened and she took a slight step back. "Oh...you're. You can't be-" She had seen alternate realities before. She had seen a world were Sonic had named himself king and ruled with an iron fist. It was still a shock to realise this Sonic wasn't 'her' Sonic.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else. Well, a different Sonic." He was looking at her like she was out of her mind which was very annoying. She preferred that to feeling awkward though.

"I am Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog. The one and only." He said with a vague salute, though the lukewarm reception left something to be desired. "You're in Nautilus. This is a zone that connects all the other zones. You musta just got here."

She smiled a little at his introduction. Still very Sonic-y. "Nautilus. I haven't heard of that one before."

She tapped her chin playfully. "Sooo...if yu're the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog, that means you must be my Sonic. And my Sonic would never forget how close we are." She teased, smoothly sliding to his side. Now, if he actually was the Sonic she knew, he would tell her to cut it out. Then again, her Sonic would know who Johnny is too.

"How could I forget." Sonic said flatly, taking the chance to oh-so-subtley take a small step away to put some personal space back between them. "I don't suppose you remember bein' in the Freedom Fighters, Knothole, or any of that?"

Amy giggled as he stepped away form her. At least that much was still the same. As he spoke, she frowned. "Freedom Fighters, yes. Knothole, no. There must be sme core differences in our realities then. I never heard of a Knothole in my Mobius."

She folded her arms. "So, do you have a Robotnik in your timeline? Ruled the world with an army of robots?"

At least there was a few familiar things that she remembered from her world. Having some point of reference would make it easier, or so he imagined.

"Yeah, We've got Robotnik. 'Cept in my world, we call him 'Eggman' since he's shaped like a giant egg." He also didn't rule the world...technically. Though he sure was giving it his best try.

"He didn't completely take over? In my world he had Mobius on lockdown. You couldn't go anywhere without being stopped and entire Zones were destroyed and remade into chemical plants, oil refineries, even his own city...was Knothole like a safe place then?"

As she spoke of what had happened, her gaze drifted slightly before refocusing. Evidently things had been tough, trying to fight back with no real safety net if they were discovered.

Sonic held both hands up. "Woah, woah." If there was one thing he'd learned from having a few other pals come from different times or places it was that trying to solve it all at once? Never worked.

"How 'bout we get you squared away in the city before we get into the deets of where we came from."

"Oh! Good idea." She still didn't know where she was, but Sonic seemed to. Maybe he'd been here longer or had done some recon. Or both. "Is there a base around here?"

[Elias studies the pink hedgehog on his screen. She looks and sounds like the Amy Rose he knows. Only her style of dress seems just a bit off. Nonetheless, he isn't about to leave a Freedom Fighter hanging.]

Hello, Amy. I'm Elias. You're in a Zone called Nautilus. You've awoken, as they say. It's a zone between all zones, and you've been brought here to help us protect it.

"Oh!" She smiled at the face on her comm brightly. "A zone between zones...sounds a bit like the Special Zone then. Although this place is why more controlled than that. It's nice to meet you Elias! Are you from Mobius too? Although, there's other Mobius' too..." She trailed off. Once you start travelling dimensions, things could get a little muddled.

"...I suppose you could say it is like the Special Zone. There is a fair amount of chaos in this city. I am from Mobius. The Mobius Prime zone. There are a lot of other Mobius' it turns out." Elias said with a nod.

"Has anyone sent you a copy of the newcomer's guide yet?"

"No, no guide. Normally I hit the ground and have to get info on where I am with what I have on me." Although a guide would make everything 100% easier. She'd never say no to an offer like that.

"I don't know what to call my Mobius then. Haven't really come in touch with other realities much, mostly just branching timelines. What's Mobius Prime like?"

Let me send you the guide then. Hold on.

[A few button pushes and Amy will find an attachment being sent to her.]

I think that's how some Zones work. Different timelines. Or mirror worlds. Mobius Prime is...well all I can say is it's normal. I've never been to another zone. We have seven chaos emeralds. Dr. Eggman is attempting to conquer the world. Sonic is the hero of Mobius. ...Those are the basics, I suppose.

An audio file responds to the feed, suggesting the user is uncomfortable with video, for some reason. Or he's rude. Definitely not the second one.

"I have been trying to locate the coordinates with no success. I will let you know if I receive updated information."
