"Oh." Well, it seemed that whoever this potato head was, a Nightcrawler was not needed in that world. At least he remembers some of these names!

"I know a Storm! And Dazzler became our leader when we journeyed through dimensions! We even met a second one, but..." And here he looks a bit sad and frowns. "...she died saving us."

"Heh! Dazzler, leader? That's somethin'- a'course the one I know's always fightin' over who likes Longshot better along with Rogue." He snorted lightly, shaking his head. "Girls."

Wolvie looked away at the mention of a second Dazzler, frowning. "Well that poots."

He has to grin at that with wholehearted agreement. Girls were weird like that. "She did something similar with Emma over this slave guy!"

Though he nods with a solemn face. "But she smiled... I think the world she came from had already been ruined. That other Nightcrawler came from the same world too..."

"Seriously? Wow, would'a hoped the big Dazzler would have more sense'n the little one."

The X-Baby shrugged. "That's pretty depressing. So does that mean our worlds got ruined too, an' that's why we're here?"

"It's probably girl-stuff?" They were a confusing bunch after all.

Though being reminded of his world, makes him suddenly go very very quiet. Even his tail was only twitching just slightly in nervousness and his ears seemingly drooping a bit. "I don't know, but there is no reason to go back to my world anymore." It's not something he liked to talk about.

"Probably," Wolvie agreed, nodding.

The shift in mood wasn't lost on him as he glanced at Kurt. He sighed, turning as he folded his arms behind his head.

"Anyway, we're not gettin' anywhere just standing around. I'm hungry. Let's go find some grub."

"Ah! You're right!"

He jumps up from the ground, tail twisting in the air. The blue mutant was actually glad for the change of topic and now that Wolvie mentioned that he was hungry, he kind of felt the same way.

"Do you think we can find a place to get food here?" Though he'll start walking either way.

     "Don't see why not! It'd be a pretty crappy place if there wasn't any food."

     Wolvie looked around, sniffing. "If there's a place, I'll find it for sure!"

What the...... That ICON. AYA, NO! (How did I miss that the first time you used it?!)

Food did sounds like a great thing right now, since Kurt couldn't quite remember how long he had been searching for everyone anyway.

"That's true. I'm sure this place has other people living here too." After the sniffing, Kurt cocks his head. "Found a trace?"

*CRIES* LOL He was being a brat to Kitty. And then Colossus punched him the nose (again)

"Mmnn...." The masked kid paused and sniffed, then sniffed again before hopping in place as he pointed.

"'dis way!" he said, right before dashing off. And people wondered how Wolvie got his friends into trouble.

With that face, no wonder.

"Woah! Hey wait!"

Kurt followed right after. He would have actually teleported to be faster, but when he got here he had noticed that it didn't work here. It was weird, after getting used to teleporting like that. Now he had to actually run again to keep track of the other.

Wolvie raced along, showing no signs of waiting up. He figured that if Kurt was an X-Man or Excalibur variant that he'd be able to catch up just fine.

At least the kid wasn't terribly fast himself. While being small helped him along, his legs were short, and running and hopping about only carried him so far. Around another corner he came to a stop again, pausing to sniff before rushing off once more. The skies seemed to be growing red as they continued in that direction.

The blue mutant sighed when the other didn't stop at all and though he still hadn't been able to teleport, he managed to jump up on the buildings around and managed to keep his eyes out for the other this way. It was easier to jump from building to building on all fours, than running on just two legs on the ground.

At least he could keep up with the other this way, though the change of the sky color made him feel a bit uneasy. Was it just a sunset? Or something else...

"Wolvie!"

The kid didn't stop. He usually didn't when he was with the other X-Babies, so he didn't see any point in starting now. Besides! He smelled something really interesting out this way!

Of course, it might not be what Kurt had in mind. True enough, they'd started their adventure in search of food, but Wolvie found something that thought he'd make a great meal instead.

"Whoa! Look'it that!" he said to no one as he skidded to a halt- a large spider lowering itself down from between buildings.

It was getting easier to follow, with more buildings appearing. That way he at least always had a view of the other, somewhat. When he stopped, Kurt jumped down right behind the other mutant... just so to wish he hadn't done that the next moment.

"Hiiiih Spider!"

And a damn gigantic one. Wolvie, you were really good to get in trouble!

     Oh Kurt, you have no idea. Wolvie was responsible for many a caper with the others.

     The kid bounced in place, his little claws extended. He didn't seem nearly as concerned as the blue teenager. "Ho boy! Come'ere! I'll chop yer legs off!"

Somehow, he would probably agree to that all too well... and he only met this Wolverine right now.

"Wah! You sure you want to fight that?"

That spider was way bigger than what he knew them to be and it was charging right at them suddenly!

"Yeah, what else you gonna do?" Run away? That usually wasn't in Wolvie's top list of options, but then that was probably obvious by the way the kid stubbornly held his ground. Was that a grin on his face? That was definitely a grin on his face.

Of course, the question now was whether he could actually hold his own against something so big!

"Come an' get it, ugly!" he shouted, ready to swing at a leg.

Well... okay.... Somehow he was not surprised that even the younger version of Howlett was right into the fighting like this. The boy they had met once, should have been clue enough anyway.

He didn't answer that question though. Since the blue mutant still couldn't seem to teleport, it was like being in that glass cage all over again somehow... just with more space and really no way around it, he looked for something he could use to fight. He was definitely not going to run away just yet!

Killing a spider probably didn't count anyway to Howlett's 'only killing when you're eighteen'-speech. In the end, he found a big stick he could use as a weapon. Hopefully it held when Kurt jumped to the side of the charging spider and tried to hit one of the other legs as well.

Wolvie's heart was in the right place. All that was left was to see whether he could stand behind the tough words he spouted.

The large spider probably wasn't expecting so much bite from a little morsel, but little claws still did the job of slashing through the lower joint of one of its spindly legs. Screeching, it reared back. Thankfully Kurt had moved to attack just before it could try and land on the miniature Wolverine.

"Yeah! You show 'im!" he piped, grinning almost maliciously. Seeing as the spider was distracted, the X-Baby dove in again, aiming claws at another leg.

At least Wolverine had something sharp to attack the legs with, Kurt was glad enough the stick hadn't broken right after it's first use. Grinning a bit when the adrenaline started to run it's cause, he jumped out of the way from the flailing legs and hit the next one with similar accuracy.

"Just watch out!"

Because damn these legs could flail around quite nicely.

"Aw, I got this!"

Of course at that point Wolvie ended up getting caught right across the stomach by one of those flailing spider legs. He tumbled head over heels past Kurt, which conveniently now made the blue wonder the focus of the maimed spider now that one little pest had been knocked away.

The blue mutant watched with wide eyes as the other tumbled past him, even following him with his gaze, which... in an afterthought was not the best of choices. Kurt nearly noticed the movement from the corner of his eyes too late, but managed in the last moment to jump backwards, swinging the stick pretty blindly at the spider suddenly attacking him head-on.

"Hey! Are you alright?!"

At least this time, he didn't look away from the maimed spider, instead dodging as best as he could. Which was pretty good agility for someone who hasn't grown up in a circus at least.

The spider screeched, pulling back its bruised leg, but it didn't retreat very far. Again it reared up, trying to lash at the blue one.

"Oooow, ow- dumb bug!" Wolvie complained, rubbing his face. He pushed himself to his feet, perhaps a little bruised but not down yet. It was a little strange to him that the pain wasn't subsiding like it usually tended to. His healing factor usually made things like this about as serious as a stubbed toe.

Of course, the little mutant wasn't about to let it keep him from attacking again. He leaped at the spider, hacking at another leg while it was focused on Kurt.
