Well yes. When you and the gems left, it was left by itself. So I went to live there with Mr. Crocker. We kept your room intact though.

We're in the Nautilus. The best way to describe it is a sort of world inbetween worlds. That's why people from many different kind of universes wind up here.

A world between worlds? That sounds so cool! It's like one of those books I read... I can't remember the title right now, but it'll come.

[Enough sidetracking] Do you mean there are aliens here?

In a manner of speaking? Yes. Robots, hedgehogs, sentient AI's? There are plenty of alien things here.

Ah! No, of course not! I was thinking of a different book - Unless I've been reading them out of order again?

[He sincerely hopes he doesn't, since he's trying to pay more attention to the numbers on the spine of the books. But the list of creatures Connie mentions distracts him from that and fills him with awe]

Not all of them, no, but I know OF them. IN fact, I think you'll want to meet a boy here named Hiro. He's pretty cool!

It'll just take some time! Trust me, as good as you are you'll learn how to master your gem powers again before you know it!
