Huh? No! No! No!

... I'm her family here. In this place. [Denzel looks up at the trees and sky]

In Nautilus.

[Steven looks up too]

I'm very confused now.

[crackpotcrocker]

You see... You according to Connie was here at one point with her. And so where the Gems. But at one point they went home. Before that, I had taken her on as my bending -

[Crocker cracks out and cracks back in]

student. And she insisted about knowing about me. When you and the Gems disappeared she came to live with me. And then I, Mr. Crocker - lost someone close to me.

At some point, after living with her and going though things. I, came to see her as my daughter. And seeing she also had nowhere else to go - I wasn't going to be like my mother and disown her.

This place. Is a place between worlds. This place is the vortex intersection on where all the worlds in the multi verse - CROSS!

[Denzel stands up as he nears the end of his sentence and spreads out his arms and exclaims that. Before disappearing and re-appearing in a crack. Afterwards, looks back down at Steven.]

Aaaaaaaaaw. Like you were lost and found each other and became a family!

[He's seen a lot of movies like that. He likes them]

But does that mean Connie has been on her own? I don't remember having been in this place before! Am I losing my memory?

[He touches his head, looking for a lump or something] Did I hit my head?

[Denzel gives a side smirk to Steven's remark on them being lost and becoming a family]

As far as anyone not being here from her world. Yes.

No. No. You could be from another point in your world's timeline or an alternate reality of your world.


[Look at the crazy in his eyes]

I am completely lost again.

...This is awkward. There could more than one of your universe out there and thus more of you.

[meaniezucchini]

... That happened once. It was a very bad idea.

[All the Stevens ended up fighting and then dying horribly.]

If it helps any - So far not more than one version of someone has been here at the same time.

What kind of place is this?

It's a place where ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

[There he goes disappearing in a crack before re-appearing behind Steven and laughing like a manic]

Except two of the same person.

You could learn to duplicate yourself. However, I would be concerned if doubles of everyone did start showing up that wasn't because of magically duplicating yourself.

Because it would mean that the all worlds are spinning down into the center of a black hole.

[meaniezucchini]

No! No duplicates! ... and no shapeshifting either!

[Since he's already listing his hard limits]

... Both are possible and hard to master. But that's besides the point! If you don't have to learn those if you don't want too.

[Goodness that breath is like a reindeer's behind]

This place is built on will. So if you don't want to learn a certain aspect of bending you don't have too. In fact - if you don't want to learn bending at all you won't!

[meaniezucchini]

But it was so cool! It makes you appear and disappear wherever you want!

[crackpotcrocker]

[Denzel clasps his hands together] That - in order to learn that you'll have to Ascend.

But that's not the only thing I can do! I can - [With a flick of his hand there's a blue flame in Crocker's palm and then shapes the fire to look like a ship. Then Crocker makes the blue fire in the shape of ship disappear and has the earth beneath him elevate him up on a platform. Then jumps and takes off in flight and does some loopy loopys before landing on a branch and then creating a staircase of Earth back down towards Steven. Finally, Crocker makes an over-sized screwdriver appear out of no-where.]

[meaniezucchini]

Ascend where? To that tree? I can do that right now!

[But before Steven tries to climb, the fire distracts him. And then the platform and then... everything else.

The stars in his eyes are so big they may be the size of his entire head.]

Wooooooooooooooow! All of that is bending?

[crackpotcrocker]

No, no, no, no. Ascending is something that happens to you. How you change. When you change you Ascend and when you Ascend you gain more abilities and more RESPONSIBILITIES!

[Crocker exclaims that is before]

YES! [Which he disappears with a crack and re-appears only seconds later]

All of that was out of bending.

[meaniezucchini]

But I have enough responsibilities as a Crystal Gem! What else wants the universe from me?


... I'd love to learn that bending stuff, though. It's so neat.

[crackpotcrocker]

[Denzel walks to the side of Steven and places a hand gently on Stevens shoulder and turns his head sideways to look at Steven because Crocker does understand the pressure of being a good guy. Is nothing like being a villain.]

You're not doing this alone.

[Then Crocker slides his hand off of Steven's shoulder and squats down and faces Steven]

And you'll be able to learn bending. Just not everything right away.

[Which in that moment Crocker is wondering what his life is becoming with helping, Tails, Connie and apparently now Steven]

It's becoming rather ironic.

[However, other universe children where open to things like magic and the super natural. In Crocker's universe all those children didn't believe in it or where Timmy Turner and lied about it]
