Cinderella | Fables

[Cinderella may have fallen asleep on her flight back to New York, but she was pretty damn sure that this wasn't a dream. It seemed way too real for that to be the case. It leaves her to question how she got in this strange world.

[Her first instinct was to be pissed. Not only was she dragged from the Mundane World without her consent, but she was without her luggage as well. Her designer clothes, and weapons were nowhere to be found. She can deal without having a weapon for now. If she really needed one, she could just "borrow" from the other guy. But no woman should ever be separated from her designer clothes and shoes!

[After she calmed down from her little fit that may or may may had consisted of a ton of swearing, it was time to assess her situation. One, she was on a flight back home from a mission that was successful, so there were no immediate dangers to Fabletown that she was aware of at the moment, so that gave her a little more time to figure out how to get back. Second, she herself wasn't in any immediate danger that she could tell. Finally, after hearing her phone buzz a few times and scrolling through it, it became clear she wasn't the only from another world here.

[With that last bit in mind, she decides to make a video post, to see if a forward approach will yield some answers.]

What does it say about me when "waking up in another world" is not even at the top of my "strange shit that's happened to me" list? Really, fact that I'm here without my luggage has me more annoyed than waking up in the middle of BFE instead of in my nice cozy first class seat.

So, will anyone be so kind as to tell me where the fuck I am and how do I get back?

I can help with that. You're in Nautilus. Basically a world between all other worlds. Congrats on making it to the party.

[Far from the strangest thing. In fact it's less strange than on of her associates who is a normal size cat who wears boots, a hat, and a saber.]

A party huh? And here I am without anything to wear.

Can't say I ever heard of Nautilus before. Anything I should know about this place?

Quick checklist;

The city is alive.

We have things called Reality Storms that affect the city and us, sometimes changing our pasts and memories.

You can now Bend reality and any special abilities you had before aren't going to work until you learn to Bend.

There are monsters in the outer areas of the city as well so be careful of those. That's the big stuff.

What I got from that is that this place is alive, and will fuck you over with storms and whatever beasties are lurking round. Sounds like fun.

Now then what is Bending exactly. I didn't have any special abilities back home so I'm not losing anything just by being here.
