[It takes Jak a few hours after arriving to post a video. He's in the Western District from the looks of it, with a few KO'd spiders behind him. He isn't looking too happy as he props the lead pipe he found onto his shoulder.]

I wake up in a strange city, get attacked by giant mutant spiders, and I don't have my gun. I've had worse weeks.

The name's Jak. Where am I and has anyone seen a little orange guy? About two feet tall? Big mouth. Goes by Daxter. If you see him, let me know.

I have not seen anyone of the description here, but I can answer the first part of your question. You are in Nautilus, a city that resides in between worlds.

So I'm in a strange city called Nautilus that's between worlds. That bumps this up on the worst week ever scale. Still not the worst.

Unless you're going to tell me I've been poisoned too.

No. There is no poison, so you are safe as far as that is concern. Though strange things do tend to happen around here.

What kind of strange things are we talking about here?

The weather for one thing. There was one time it rained candy. [That was a headache she will not forget soon.]

And there are storms that can change someone, either physically or mentally.

I never claimed that this place was sane.

It is a city, that is literally alive, that exists in between worlds. That in itself sounds insane.

Okay. This might top my worst week list now. What do I do then? Anyway to get out of this city?

Well then, you shall be happy to hear this. You can go back to your world anytime, just by going through the gates.

Also, time flows differently here. No matter how long you stay here, when you return to your world, a second would not have gone by.

That sounds too good to be true. How does that work?

That is were it can get tricky. By my understanding, the first time going through the gates to get back to one's world is a force of will.

So I just have to force it to work...with my will? Like thinking really hard? There isn't any heel clocking, right?

But yes it is something like thinking hard and concentrating. It is pretty how this whole place works.
