Liam jumps slightly and turns to try and look around him.

"What the - who - who said that?" he twists around where he is sitting to try and find the voice, lifting his legs by hugging his knees to him. Maybe a fairy? But what would one be doing in a place like this?

"Jumpier 'en a frog on a cactus...boy sit down. Look over here." REally, with the way the kid was moving, Jed was in danger of getting knocked around. Plus the nose was a little irritating.

Liam sat stick straight and followed the voice. He flinched and gave a startled shout.

"What the- what is this?" he pushes himself back from Jed, "What the hell are you?"

"Ah! Not so loud, boy!" Dad gum that hurt. He rubbed his ears with a wince, glaring up at the blond kid. "I'm Jedidiah Smith, and that's a who not a what, ya green horn."

"I"m not loud, you're just little. Like - little, little." he holds up his thumb and forefinger. He shifts to sit on his knees and leans to look down at Jed.

"Jedidiah? And hey, man! Who're you calling a green horn?" he points at him accusingly.

Little?! Jed glares, "Don't you talk down to me, boy! I ain't afeared a takin' ya down a peg or ten!" He folds his arms and smirks up at the kid, "You, ya Juniper."

"Juniper?" he echos mockingly, "Did you just call me Juniper? And by the way I can throw you further than you could walk in ten years." he adds sharply.

"You are not the fist uber midget I've met with an attitude."

"Ya sure ain't soundin' like yer from the west, boy." Hence why the term Juniper. Now though he looks riled and he stomps closer. He's not just acting tough, despite his size he really will go after Liam.

"I ain't a midget, hoss, got myself all proper proportion like I oughta." He was a well made figure darn it!

"You are this big." he replied holding his thumb and index finger up, "And what freakin' planet are you from, hick? My name's Liam. Can you call me that? Liam. What the heck do I call you?"
