It didn't matter that she was in love, and that he was here. That flirty voice was as familiar to her as the air she breathed. More, actually since this was new air on a new world. But for the last... well, she was too much a lady to count how many years, this was her.
Teasing, flirty sometimes, brash sometimes, deeply in love, and now she knew just as brave as she hoped she'd turn out to be. Oh, she wished her parents could see her now. That was, if they were even aware at that point that they were her parents. Still. New world to discover. And in many ways, a new Doctor.
So she was in a fairly good mood, which did make her more inclined to help some random stranger. She felt like she knew a little bit more the pain involved in being the Doctor. Well, helping people was what he did at his best, so she might as well try it.

But a beautiful woman? That was a problem he would always willingly handle. He leaned back a bit on the bench, crossing his feet at the ankles, "Might'en you known where we are, mon petite? World traveled as I am, nary an idea to this place."

"World traveled you may be," she said, an amused twist to her lips, "but unless I've missed my guess, someone has decided to pluralize that for you." A small amused smirk. "This probably isn't your world. Isn't mine either," she added. Not that she really had one, given her history. She didn't even claim Earth. After all, that was his world, in so many ways. She had no desire to claim it over him. The closest she had to claiming anything was a home world was claiming the stars themselves, the void. She began in the Tardis, was born on an asteroid, and spent most of her adult life in Stormcage. Or, well, having fun breaking out of it. She would always treasure the years spent on Earth, but they weren't hers, not really. Time on earth that was hers came in the form of visits and adventures, and a day trip to New York.
This was her home world, if any was, because she didn't know it, yet. There was still adventure to be found here. Still reasons to run.

"So, ol Romy's been dragged somewhere not Earthly?" He pouts a bit in thought before shrugging. Really, there were few things that would surprise him. Interest him, oh there were plenty. Surprises came much less often. So he grins a bit and tosses the phone back into his pocket. Gone and forgotten! On to better things.
"So we are tourists, non? Explorers?" A flirty wink as he stands up and offers a hand to her, "I am always more willing to explore wit' a beautiful companion."

But she could still flirt with the best of them, even if that word was reserved for a very special meaning in her mind. Especially in such a context.
She took the hand, and before he could do anything with their joined hands, brought his up to her mouth and kissed it like a knight. She'd have some fun seeing how he handled that littler reversal. Then she let go of his hand as she smiled a bit. "Beautiful I agree with, but I am not a companion, or a tourist."
Her eyes fairly danced. "I'm River Song. Archeologist."
