[The kid's eyes widen when he sees the hand turn into fire. He's picked up easily and srt down. He looks at Ace for a moment, his scowl finally gone. He looks surprised. He just stares up at the man.]

The gate I... [He drops his gruff voice for a moment. He clears his throat and goes back to his gruff hero voice.]
