Dirk gives a scoffing laugh and looks around him then back to the kid. It sounded like he was trying to hard to sound - intimidating, but he really couldn't see it.

"Nautilus. It's a city."

Mysterion's eyes narrowed at the laugh. He wouldn't react. It was fine if this adult underestimated him. As long as he got the answers he needed, that was all that mattered.

"A city called Nautilus. How did I get here? What state is it in? Or am I in another world?"

"You fell asleep and woke up in another world." Dirk replied flatly, crossing his arms.

"What is - this supposed to be?" he asked gesturing to Mysterion's figure, "Because - we've got masked whatever the hell but you're - different."

Mysterion just stared up at Dirk for a moment.

"I am Mysterion. I'm a superhero. If there are other heroes here, then I'll find them. Tell me, have you seen a little girl? This tall with brown hair, carrying a pink doll?" Mysterion held out his arm to show he was looking for a girl about half his own size.

"Her name is Karen. Is she here?"
