[ As far as he knows, there's no bluff. It seems almost appropriate, the small thorn in his side showing herself as he's trying to work out a bigger problem, though he wouldn't be surprised if she was a part of that as well. Jedi and their younglings so often are after all.

There's only a few footholds on the walls of the alleyway he's found himself in, but they do well enough to give him a higher vantage point and he'll take it for now. If the child is still unsure as to what lies in the darkness...

That garbled, electric laugh--dissolving into a cough--should give a good idea even before he finally speaks. ]

[It isn't a voice that she is likely to forget. How many times have they crossed paths? Too many, if Ahsoka had anything to say, and this definitely counts as those one too many times. If she had hackles, they would be up, but she doesn't, and settles for a slightly defensive stance, eyeing him.

There is, perhaps, a little bit of space put between them.

Ahsoka could give a number of answers to that. That her Master isn't here (because he isn't). That it's none of his business. That she doesn't need her Master (and she doesn't). But she settles for something else.]

[ Nothing friendly about his tone, nothing friendly about his posture from his perch up on the wall. He looks as though he could spring at her at any moment, but it's difficult to tell whether or not he actually intends to. Knowing him it's at least a safe bet that the want to is definitely there. ]

[If he expects something that isn't snippy in nature, he will be sad to learn that he's out of luck. She does keep her focus on the here and now, on him, watching and waiting to see what his next move would be. If he knows little to nothing about this place, he likely won't realize that her skills have all needed to be relearned. She has been working on it, daily, to regain her abilities by using Bending.]

[ A Jedi being difficult, stop the presses. Then again Grievous isn't being any better, the rough noise that "welcome" gets out of him assuredly being a derisive scoff. ]

[Then again, she had said much the same thing when she arrived. She hadn't answered a call, and it had been rather frustrating to be yanked from what she had been doing, especially as she had no idea what was next for her. Still has no clue, really. Being a Jedi was all she had known, and it has left her with a certain set of skills that don't really transfer over to much else.]

And if I had to guess, someone has poor taste or made a mistake.

[ Frustrating is a good word for it, yes, even if they would likely disagree on the importance of what he'd been doing. In any case, from where he's standing he needs to get back ASAP no matter who thought it a good idea to abduct him. ]
