Just because the Doctor doesn't appear to be listening doesn't mean he's not. And yes, that hand is still clapping.

The Doctor slowly shakes his head.

"I think... I just need to be here for awhile. You go on..."

No, he's not going to chuck himself off the roof, even if it would be an interesting experiment to feel things like humans would.

"You sure?" Adrien asked, looking at him with concern. If he needed someone around, he wouldn't mind staying.

"You can't help me, even if you did stay."

God, it was like Bors all over again and at least he could have an Ax(el) fight with Bors.

"Ah. Fair enough," Adrien said, shoulders slumping just a bit. "Then I guess I'll see you later."

But to be fair, even without the superpowers, he's a pretty good fencer. So there's that.

The Doctor gives a nod as he stares out over the part of the city that he is facing.
