[Ash listens to Morty's tale and he can highly respect the reverence for the bond between humans and Pokemon considering, Ketchum's main six and as Morty speaks of the Ghost Pokemon in that way, Ash remembers that out of body experience with Haunter and how it had been freaky at first - Ketchum found out that Gastly, Haunter and Gengar just wanted someone to play with and can only smile about that and how silly the Haunter was and how Haunter helped Sabrina find herself again and beat Sabrina Kadabra to win the Marsh Badge.
