Don't mind her Marco, Leanne in her birb form go to try and perch near the pineapple, cooing at him.

What's wrong? Something she can do to help?

Marco hadn't expected a bird friend to come along, and it does give him a half smile that's slightly melancholy. How was this young bird's life fairing? Had they found a family to love and cherish? Had they ever had to lose one? He reaches a hand to very gently stroke the heron's head, exuding as much of a calming sense of emotion he could so she wouldn't be afraid and run off. Then again, if she was bold enough to come up and perch near him on his streetlight, perhaps she wouldn't scurry off anyways.

"Hey there little lady. What's a beautiful girl like you doing all the way out here?" She likely could feel his sense of loss even if she didn't have her heron laguz abilities.
