[ Vader didn't respond verbally to this, but those yellow eyes narrowed dangerously. And if only for good measure, the Sith reaches into the Force next to seize the bounty hunter by his neck.

Because Force Choke greetings are the best greeting. ]

[Bane had an inkling of what the person he thought of as Anakin Skywalker was doing but but the Sith may be in for a surprise since the bounty hunter chuckled softly instead of gasping for air. You didn't deal with multiple Force users, many in the Dark Side, without being prepared. Not only was he mentally resistant to the Mind Trick, his breathing tubes had a variety of purposes - they did filter toxic air on certain planets but they also gave him some defence against Force choking. That might not be the case indefinitely, if Vader persisted with it, but for the moment it was having little to no effect.]

[ Well, he can tell there is hardly any effect, but Vader has enough mechanical knowledge to make an educated guess.

The Sith merely snarls in response, and the pressure shifts from Bane's airways to clench around his lungs instead. ]

[He was about to remark on that protest but he's then distracted by the suffocating pressure. Well, this was new - and unpleasant - and becoming increasingly painful. He puts a hand out and gasps.]

[ Vader keeps the pressure p for a little longer, just to make a point. When he finally releases the bounty hunter, he really only does so because killing him wouldn't be permanent anyway. ]
