"Dreadful place. All rain and the locals..." an eye roll. "Nothing on New York City. Now thar's a fun city." He'd go to Vegas, but he doesn't want to get shot.
no subject
"I can't argue with you there, I like New York City too. Fantastic night life."

"What about this place? Any good nightlife around here?" Jack grinned. "Since we're not in New York right now, but here instead."
no subject
"Not a clue," Kilgrave grimaced again, "But I rather doubt it. Too few people to use that sort of thing."
Well, there was one, in the city over, but Kilgrave hadn't been there long enough to know about that. Plus he wasn't one for friends.

He didn't need friends to have fun, he could make new friends by going out. It was the best way to go about it when in a strange land.

"That's what we should be looking for around here." That, or invasions of aliens, tears in the rift of time and space...it's all relative to what comes up.
"Let's see if we can find a pub around here, get to know each other over a drink."
no subject
Getting to know each other? That was... new. REALLY new. Like, no one had ever really tried before. At best... women hit on him because he told them to. "Uh yeah, sure." Kilgrave grinned, hiding any ounce of uncertainty. "You like rugby?"
no subject
"Then let's take a walk until we find one." Jack grinned and started wandering.
"Rugby is a fine sport. Popular where I am, football too."
no subject
"It's a plan," if nothing else. Although Kilgrave was already beginning to miss New York's constant steady stream of cars and drivers to manipulate and order about.
"Well, yeah." Kilgrave snorted quietly. "Cardiff. Nothing else to do there. Unless you mean somewhere else."
no subject
"Excellent!" He grinned, it was an adventure.
"I've been in Cardiff for quite awhile so I'd have to say that's about right." Jack chuckled. "There's not a lot going on there."
Apart from the rift activity, but hardly the time or place to discuss business.
