He didn't hear what the man said everything was still ringing as loud as it was before, which meant he'd gone a bit deaf but he was sure it'd work itself out in time. He was fairly sure the man was agreeing with him, though.

Still, unable to hear even himself, he might actually be shouting when he speaks. Sorry about that.

"Right. Well! Nice to meet you. See you around. Try to stay out of trouble." Whaps his shoulder in a friendly way and then kicks open the sealed door, cringing as he suddenly becomes aware of his acid burned shoulder. That hurt! He bends the tear in his jumper and jacket and rolls his shoulder, wincing again.

Perhaps Curls could help him.

The Doctor was shouting, likely because he wasn't as impervious to the sound as perhaps he thought he was. Jack was spared the lingering ringing effect, so that was something.

"Wait, wait, are you just leaving me here?" He scoffed lightly. "Come on, that's not very nice."

Naturally, he might not be heard, considering.

"No? Not even if I put out?" He shot back with a teasing tone but let the Doctor go with a light chuckle, he could explore on his own just fine.
