"Good. I'm glad." No, really he is and that grin continues on his face, considering how Nine just left Jack there...

"Whut else?"

Jack sighs unsure of what to say. He has years, centuries on the Doctor now and the wrong words could ruin everything. He smiles and decides to go for something simple. An easy story he's told before that he knows shocked the hell out of the Doctor at the time. "I told you a little about my background too. Grew up on the Boshane Peninsula. I doubt you've ever been there. First one ever to be signed up for the Time Agency. Made me a bit of a poster boy. Face of Boe was the nickname they gave me."

Jack grins up at the Doctor as if to say Take that you insufferable handsome git

No way! It couldn't be. The impish grin disappears - if that's true then what does Jack know or will know that can wait till the last encounter with The Face of Boe? But it does explain how The Doctor was paged on his psychic paper.

"...I meant questions. Do you have, anymore?"

Then a pause, "I should really ask my wife first before we continue this."

"No," Jack starts to say and then he stops. He learned things about himself after the 456 event while he was running around the universe that made him question his future and how long he was supposed to be living. He didn't reveal what he knows because he was angry about it just a gentle cheeky reminder that yes no matter what Jack Harkness was going to be looking out for the Doctor in some form. "Doctor.....I want you to know. I forgive you....for what you did. I forgave you a long time ago."

"Jack - " Then stops himself and gives an affirmative head nod and assumes it's about leaving Jack on Satelite Five.

"Thank you. But it's not that. Rose and I have an equal partnership here."

Jack can't help the eager expression that crosses his face at the mention of Rose. The others had mentioned her enough that Jack couldn't wait to hold his favorite girl again. "Right," he said, "I wouldn't want to step on any toes here.. Three's a crowd and all that."

"With you makes six, actually." Ten clicks his tongue playfully, "If you don't like living in the Box, let me know and I'll tell you where the other safe locations are."

[captainspain]

Jack waves this off. "I've lived in a basement for over a century. The Box will be fine because I'll be with the people I care about," he replies easily. "I promise to keep my pants on unless one of you wants them off." He winks again.

"Don't flash the children." Ten remarks dryly and deadpan look, "Rose already did that." Which caused Mari and Chat to flip.

Jack snorted and laughed so hard he almost choked. Once he'd calmed down he was smiling his brightest most real smile. "Well look at that, Rose did learn something from me after all. Good girl."

Ten really isn't amused at all - mostly because on the children flipped out. Otherwise, he'd be cheering this on.

"And two of the children flipped out. So -" Ten lightly pats Jack's bum, "Keep them on when around them."

Jack tossed off a jaunty salute and grinned. "Got the message Doc," he says, "pants on unless invited to disrobe."
