Something about this person reminded him of Jed, but Clef couldn't quite figure out what.

"Actually, Naut, short for Nautilus, is a different world than the one you were just in. This world gathers heroes and potential heroes, and gives us a place to meet each other, learn from each other, and develop new skills. When the world feels that we are ready, we Ascend, and once we Ascend, we can journey to other worlds to fix problems there, things that went wrong."

"Whatever magic or other abilities you had at home, you do not have here. Not yet. The laws of Naut's magic are fundamentally different than those of most other worlds. But the magic here is free to any to learn. It takes will, imagination, and practice. With those three, there are few things that cannot be done."

"Nautilus," Jesse whistled, long and low. The name didn't sound familiar. During all his travels with Overwatch and on the road as a bounty hunter, nowhere like Nautilus had been mentioned.

"Luckily, I ain't got any fancy powers. Jus' me, my Peacekeeper, and some sharp shooting," McCree said, jutting out a hip to pat the gun holstered to his side, "Magic, huh? Knew those Shimada brothers an' their fancy dragons were on to somethin'."

"I can teach you the basics, if you wish," he said. He rather enjoyed teaching, he had found, when a student was receptive. When it came to teaching his adoptive son... well... hitting his head into the wall was marginally less painful.
