And there is was the other shoe Jack had been waiting to drop since he arrived and got back everyone he'd ever lost...and a few other surprises as well. He feels himself start to Bend a shield, but he stops leaving his golden traces floating in the air. He knows he's angry and depressed and hurting someone even a Time Lord who completely deserves it was wrong.

He jams his hands in his coat pockets to stop the shaking, gods they seem to do a ton of that lately, and walks over looking this...newish version of the Master over with a wary eye. "Goatee and mustache is not a good look on you," he comments dryly.

The Master sniffs, but inwardly he's glad he's got his laser screwdriver. He's sure Jack is nowhere near in a forgiving mood after all the good times they spent together on the Valiant. In fact, seeing Harkness in this place, of all places, feeling as naked as he does without a few of his senses... it's something akin to panic that he tamps down inside himself.

"Wasn't looking to impress you," he says with a healthy dollop of disdain, watching him closely.
