The phoenix bobs his head, seeming to say, good to know you haven't changed much you son of - but he can't hate you, entirely. Ever. Though finds it quite interesting someone hasn't caught on. You didn't get explained how things work here have you?

He's debating whether or not to transform in front of him or not and decides on not for now. Flies away - in one direction and when out of complete sight transform back and teleports far away in the opposite direction and walks towards Mr. Saxon and then just stands there.
selfsaboteur: (oh it's just you)

It's absolutely true; he never got the memo about turning into birds. Not that he would have believed it anyhow, not without seeing it. And even then? It's bad enough the Doctor consorts with humans, but even lower forms of life (let's conveniently forget the cheetah incident, and come to think of it, the goo snake as well)? The Master would honestly be perturbed by any explanation at this point.

He's tempted to fire at the bird, just to get it to do something (and to show the Doctor he's not to be toyed with). He's even reaching for the screwdriver. But it flies away and he clenches his fist around the weapon in utter frustration, watching the bird until it's no longer visible. He's about to turn around and resume walking when he realizes he's gotten his wish after all.

"I knew it." The Master shakes his head, smiles thinly. "I knew this had something to do with you."

Ten is trying to not look too sympathetic as he knows that his friend-enemy is feeling clogged or disconnected as far as abilities and probably hasn't figured out his screwdriver doesn't work - yet anyway. That can come back in time. His face is flexing for a good mix of being hard and authorize but also; he feels so awful for because you're completely helpless. Unless someone finds a gun - or knife...

"See you survived."

"Observant as ever, aren't you?" the Master snaps back. Is he really all that surprised, though? After all this time? He's always managed to survive. Always. And is that... pity on his face?

He in fact hasn't tested the screwdriver out, but he's considering using the Doctor for target practice. Depending on how insufferable he decides to be.
borntolove: (Really how interesting)

"This is Nautilus." Why yes, that is pity because maybe The Master has figured out a few things off with himself but may or may not be admitting to those.

"Sushi sounds good doesn't it?" Then begins to lead, The Master, that is if The Master will follow. Ten will walk a bit and then glance back.

The question isn't as random as it may seem - Ten doesn't know the last time someone ate or slept. Sooner or later, in this place that will catch up to The Master. Of course, The Master can regain those abilities but like all The Doctors they too got hit with that.
