For once, Ascot followed someone's orders other than Zagato's without questioning it. He looked down at the cat and caught sight of it talking this time. Strange.

How to even react to this..... he just kind of stared for a moment.

"I don't have any food with me." It was a cut dry and simple response. Probably the closest to a civil conversation he'd had all day. "How are you doing that?" Talking. Because a talking cat seems like something that would require magic.

"How am I doing what? Getting annoyed about how this world never brings anyone in with fish? Fine. We'll go fishing. I'll teach you how. Come on." He turned and started heading for the lake. He'd have gone to the ocean, but All Blue was there, and Adrien might think to look for him there. He wasn't quite ready to face Adrien yet.

“How are you talking?” Ascot explained as if it should have been obvious. “Hey! What if I don’t want to go fishing?” That being said he was still going to follow along behind the feline. He just couldn’t help being curious and somehow it wasn’t quite as annoying to be bossed around by a cat than another person. “You’re awful bossy for something so small...”

"I'm a cat. Of course I'm bossy. Comes with being cute. Package deal. And I'm a talker. I talk. How do you talk? Same thing but with magic added in."

His tail twitched as he looked back over his shoulder. "They you'll go fishing anyway to shut me up. Duh."
