She laughed a bit. "Alright then. If you don't like kid, let's go with brat. I can be nice that way." Nice, Me? Hardly. "And I can tell anyone what to do. Fun of being Me." No one ever said they had to obey, after all.

"And if I told them myself, they'd know I was lying. And I'd have to actually interact with them. Where's the fun in that?"

"Brat!" Ascot exclaimed obviously perturbed. "Then I guess that means I can call you a loudmouthed hag." You want a brat, then I'll show you a brat, lady. "That might be true with others but not me, I make my own decisions." Missing the words not spoken on his part.

"Well that's your problem, it's got nothing to do with me."

With that, Ascot turned his back on the weirdo and started to walk off. He grimaced at the idea of having to walk everywhere on his short little legs. How did people stand it when it was so much easier and faster to float. But yeah. There was no floating here.

She threw her head back and laughed. The mocking him, laughing AT him sort of laugh.

"The sad part is that you just made your life so much harder, brat. I will enjoy watching you fall flat on your face."

Her laughter grated on his ears but he tried not to let it slow his pace. How dare she laugh at his expense. One day, if he ever found a way to do so, he would make her pay.

“I fail to see how!” He shouted back, not even sparing her another glance.

She is such a jerk, I am so sorry.

Oh come on. That was just too tempting now. She couldn't resist. A slick patch of ice would appear right under his foot as he was setting it down.

Since he was so busy looking back towards her, he totally missed spotting the ice below him. Setting a foot down, he gasped as he slipped, falling forward and colliding with the ground.
