Pleased at the response, pet him she did. "It's lucky that I didn't have any of Hikari's fur on me. I'm not sure how you feel about dogs."

When the cat spoke the pets temporarily ceased.

"You can talk!?" Sure. Hikaru could always seem to converse with and understand animals before but that was because she was an unofficial Disney Princess this was different. Even Umi or Fuu could have spoken to this cat! "Oh.. um.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult you".

Then the pets continued. "So, you want me to ask something more important?". Okay, maaaayybbbe Umi or Fuu would have had an easier time talking to a cat that could speak their language. Hikaru was a bit more thrown off by the prospect.

"Maybe you could tell me where we are? Or why?"

He shrugged at the thought of dogs and moved closer to let her get the spot under his chin. He just spent a week as a fox, and the last dog he met, he slashed across the nose. He wasn't a scaredy cat after all.

"Of course I can talk. I'm a talker. We talk." And never shut up, if you asked Luna. Course, Luna had a really good cat throwing arm.

"The most important question, of course." He gave her a full on look. "Why haven't you fed me yet?" Remember the part where he is a cat? This would be that,.

"And yeah, I can give you the rundown while we eat. Or while we go fishing." He enjoyed fishing. BEcause fishing was how you got FISH!
