And as long as the Magic Knights don't she might still be there. This was unsaid as Zagato looked over the man who spoke. He had a very interesting chose of hairstyle to say the least.

"Is this your world?"

That makes one of us, then. Just where are you Yugi?. “.... I take it that means that you are currently unable to go to her?” Just guessing here, otherwise maybe she didn’t want to see him? Yami just had a feeling that this stranger didn’t belong here anymore than he did. “No, I’m afraid it isn’t. At least it’s not a city I’m familiar with,” Whether this was another location on his world was another matter. Maybe if they challenged someone to a card battle, and found out that no one here even knew what Duel Monsters was, then it he would know for certain.

"I have not yet discovered the way to return to my world."

But... there had to be one. Zagato refused to believe this was a one way transport. Even the Magic Knight would be returned home if they completed their mission.

"But if you are as unfamiliar with this world as I than it seemed you too have heard the voice calling you to 'wake'?"

That answered the first question sufficiently enough. "I see."

Yami hadn't lost hope of reuniting with Yugi or his friends either at this point. There was still much to be done in his world and surely he would be able to return and fulfill his destiny or his 5,000 imprisonment inside the Millennium puzzle would have been for nothing.

"Yes. You're correct. It was so strange, I've never heard that voice before". With his armor this stranger would have fit right into one of Kaiba's virtual worlds come to think of it but the architecture wouldn't. Actually, that armor also made this person look like he could fulfill the role of a spellcaster if he had been one of the monsters in the aforementioned card game. Ah... but these strange observations would bring them no closer to finding a solution. " What is the name of your world?" First, they could compare notes. "I'm from a planet called Earth, and I was currently residing in Japan..." He'd leave out the complicated bits about how he was living inside of another person who was living in Japan.

Dark Magician, ZAGATO... Too bad he would never go for it.

Yami was right in thinking Zagato's role was that of a spellcaster however on his world Cephiro Zagato was one of the most powerful magic users around which was largely why he was chosen to be the High Priest and assist the Princess with her prayers.

"I come from a world known as Cephiro."

So this boy was from Earth. His greatest enemies also came from Earth... Zagato would try not to hold that against Yami. After all it was quite likely that he had never met those three girls from another world.

"I doubt this was accidental, we must have been brought here for a reason."

Come on, you know it would work. You just need a little convincing.

"Cephiro?" Yami repeated, looking thoughtfully aside. Unfortunately that place didn't ring any bells for him. It did sound like a fantasy world.

"I concur. There would be little point in bringing us here without some purpose in mind. I just can't fathom what that reasoning could be." Which was the most frustrating part of it all. Could someone new be after his puzzle? Gripping it in one hand, he finally realized there was something off about it. The ancient power that usually emanated from it.... it was gone!

"Something very powerful is at work here..."

"Agreed."

Zagato had gone through a similar realization when he had noticed his magical abilities had been curtailed. It had to be something powerful indeed to break through his spells and some how avert the final attack of the Magic Knights.

But, and here was the problem, what to do about it.

"You know nothing else of this place? It will be difficult to find out how to return home if we do not know how we were brought here."
