"Oh! You're from Clef's world."

Link's expression brightened. "Although, I guess you might not know each other..."

He was a very weird kid.

"Clef? Everyone knows him. He is the Master Mage of Cephiro. Apparently he has taught all the great magic users how to harness their powers."

Now...should he lie here or since the kid knows Clef should he tell the truth? Hmm, a lie it is.

"Yeah I know him. Met him personally even. He still owes me a favor for some serious woodcutting work I did for him. How do you know him?"

"He adopted me. And Zelda and Shadow too."

Link smiled. "I'll have let him know you're here."

Er... wait. If Link let Clef know he was here then all of his lies would be exposed! Excuse the random hand-flapping as he grabbed the boy before he could even think of doing that!

"We don't have to do that right now? You could show me around the place first!"

Have a skeptical look.

"....okay....I can take you around. If you let go of me."

Have a cheesy... not at all trying to distract you in any way... smile as he let go of Link.

"Lead the way!"

Link was more than a little suspicious, which, was actually quite the feat. He figured if he had to, he could ask Shadow if the guy was lying, since he was a much better judge of that sort of thing.

"Anything you wanna see? The beach? Find a Welcome House to stay in? Place to eat?"

FOOD! Now there was the idea! Having been lost in the woods for some time Ferio felt like he could clear out all the food in one of those restaurants.

"That's the plan! Let's go find one of these place to eat. We can talk more over dinner."

[younghero]

"Okay. I'll take you the restaurant that's on the beach. You...don't have anything against pirates, do you?"

It was a valid question considering who all lived in the All Blue.

"Wait like, actual pirates? Can't say I have ever run into any of them before, but I have met a few thieves... if they are no worse than that then we shouldn't have a problem."

[younghero]

"They're cool! Just wanna make sure. Some people don't like anyone who's different."

Link cheerfully started to lead the way, obviously at complete ease in the forest.

"I don't have any problem with different... just as long as they don't have any problem with us."

Ferio set off after Link but he was no stranger to forest ravel himself. He just made sure to keep an eye out for monsters!

"So uh, what kinds of things live out in these woods?"

[younghero]

"Stalfos," Link said before realizing that he might not know what those were, and added, "They're skeleton warriors. They're from Hyrule, too!"

Link happily hopped over a fallen log and grinned. "There's some other things too, but, I haven't run into 'em yet. And of course, the other districts have all sorts of other monsters! There's giant spiders in the West, Redeads in the North, creepy stone-angel things in the North---"

"Living skeletons huh? That's a new one."

Ferio bounced onto the log, walking along on top of it and beside Link for a ways until the rotting tree finally curved around to it's stump.

"Sounds like you have a big monster problem around here. Doesn't anyone ever clear them out?"

[younghero]

"What---of course we try clearing them out! Nautilus just makes more of 'em."

Link shrugged patted a tree trunk.

"It makes excellent training and practice, but, there's no point in trying to wipe 'em all out. It's just frustrating."

"That makes sense. Cephiro is the same way right now. We clear out monsters and they come back stronger than ever..."

Ferio sighed as he sidestepped a mushroom growing along the path.

"It used to be such a peaceful world until Zagato kidnapped our Princess."

[younghero]

"Clef has said that..." Link put the mushroom in a pouch on his belt. He'd cook it later.

"So, was that guy trying to take over the world?"

Why else would you kidnap a Princess?

"Clef also said no one from your world could do anything....that seems like it'd be really frustrating."
